Changing Seasons: A new chapter in OZ-Hami's leadership.

Celebrating 33 years of dedication.

After an impressive 33 years at OZ-Hami, Onno Piet is stepping down from his position as Sales Manager. Throughout his career, Onno has been part of OZ-Hami's development within the international flower industry. His dedication, industry knowledge and involvement have made him a familiar face to colleagues, customers and partners. We sincerely thank Onno for his commitment and valuable contribution over the past three decades. We wish him all the best in his next chapter.

A new direction for our commercial team.

Following Onno's departure, Rudger Piet will take on the position of Commercial Manager. Rudger, who is also Onno's brother, previously held the role of Purchasing Manager at OZ-Hami. With his extensive experience in flower sourcing, supplier relationships and the international flower trade, Rudger brings valuable expertise to his new position. His appointment marks an important step in strengthening the connection between our commercial activities, purchasing expertise and international customer relationships.

New roles, shared ambitions.

Alongside Rudger's appointment, two additional management changes will take place within OZ-Hami. John van de Polder will take on the position of Operations Manager. In this role, he will focus on the operational processes that ensure the efficient handling and international distribution of fresh flowers. Roy van der Voort will become our new Purchasing Manager, taking over Rudger's previous responsibilities. He will focus on flower sourcing, assortment quality and maintaining strong relationships with our growers and suppliers. Together, these appointments will further strengthen the collaboration between our commercial, purchasing and operational departments.

In the international flower industry, change is a constant. Seasons shift, markets evolve and new opportunities emerge. As a Dutch flower exporter based in Aalsmeer, we remain committed to connecting growers and suppliers with flower wholesalers and floral professionals worldwide. Product expertise, reliable partnerships and efficient logistics continue to form the foundation of our daily operations. With a renewed management team, we look forward to further developing our services and strengthening our position in the international flower industry.
