Invoicing Team Coordinator
Every day, our flowers travel all over the world. But without the right invoice and the right paperwork, nothing leaves the building. That's where you come in.
You love having a clear overview, you spot straight away where things can be improved and you're not afraid to take the lead. As Invoicing Team Coordinator, you're at the heart of a team of seven colleagues. You keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and help build a department that's ready for the future. This isn't a role for sitting back. It's a role where you make the difference.
We are OZ-Hami: flowers in more than 60 countries
What could be better than working with the most beautiful flowers in the world? At OZ-Hami, one of the largest flower exporters in the Netherlands, we get to enjoy them every day. We love sharing our passion for flowers with everyone, from colleagues to growers. And we successfully pass it on to flower wholesalers and florists in more than 60 countries. Together you go further than alone. With that motto, we've built a strong team where everyone can blossom.
Your role: at the heart of invoicing
You make sure invoices and export documents are correct and ready on time. You're the point of contact for the invoicing team and liaise daily with sales, planning, credit control, KCB (the Dutch horticultural inspection service), customs and the Chamber of Commerce. And you look beyond today: where can we work smarter, faster and better? How do we get the department ready for growth?
You'll have the freedom to take ownership and make an impact. Here's what you'll do:
- Lead a team of seven colleagues and help them play to their strengths;
- Draw up a clear daily schedule and divide the work within the team;
- Prepare and check invoices based on shipments, regulations and pricing agreements;
- Coordinate shipments with sales, planning, credit control and external authorities;
- Keep invoicing data, transport rates and customer information up to date;
- Keep track of what's going on, including in the inbox, and step in where needed;
- Spot bottlenecks first and come up with improvements to processes and collaboration.
Who are you? A doer with a clear overview
You don't wait for someone else to pick things up. You take the initiative, work accurately and keep the bigger picture in view, even when things get busy. You enjoy working with colleagues to build a strong department. Experience in administration, invoicing, logistics or export documentation is a definite plus. But more importantly, you're eager to learn, a natural communicator and keen to develop both yourself and the department.
What you bring:
- Working and thinking at MBO level (Dutch intermediate vocational education);
- A completed qualification, preferably in financial administration;
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
- Good Excel skills;
- Some experience in a similar role is an advantage;
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude;
- The motivation to help develop the department further.
What you get in return
A job of 32 to 40 hours per week at a growing organisation in the ornamental horticulture sector. Here, you don't just have a say. You genuinely help build.
You can count on:
- A challenging job with a market leader in ornamental horticulture;
