Barendsen sluit zich aan bij OZ-Hami

Bloemenexporteur Barendsen sluit zich per 1 januari 2022 aan bij OZ-Hami, onderdeel van Dutch Flower Group (DFG).

Barendsen is meer dan 100 jaar actief in de export van verse snijbloemen aan importerende groothandelsbedrijven, event- & weddingsplanners en topbloemisten.

Vanuit Aalsmeer werken dagelijks 70 medewerkers aan het op maat beleveren van klanten in ruim 35 landen wereldwijd, waaronder Zwitserland, Frankrijk en Spanje. Naast exportactiviteiten beschikt Barendsen ook over een eigen netwerk van kwekers voor bijzondere snijbloemen uit Nederland, Spanje, Italië en Zuid-Amerika.

Barendsen zocht naar een betrokken partner om de verdere groei van haar klantenportfolio te kunnen realiseren. Die is gevonden in OZ-Hami, de combinatie van exportbedrijven OZ Export, Hamifleurs en Van Dam.

Directeur Jan de Boer van Barendsen: “Vanuit het merk Barendsen is de aansluiting bij OZ-Hami een prachtige stap voor onze organisatie, onze klanten en ons kwekersnetwerk. We krijgen een betrokken partner aan boord om vanuit onze maatwerkbelevering in samenwerking verder te kunnen bouwen aan groei.”

Richard Koenen, commercieel directeur van OZ-Hami vult aan: “De expertise van Barendsen op fijnmazige logistiek en het specifieke assortiment van betrokken kwekers zijn een perfecte aanvulling op de activiteiten die wij naar de toekomst vanuit OZ-Hami richting onze klanten uit willen bouwen.”

Barendsen zal zich als marktpartij zelfstandig blijven profileren.
